Brent Matsuda is a Wildlife Biologist/Herpetologist, Naturalist and consultant based out of Vancouver, BC. While most of his career work has been on birds, his passion is herps, and after conducting his M.Sc. thesis research assessing the effects of clearcut timber harvesting on amphibians, he published the Royal BC Museum Handbook The Amphibians and Reptiles of British Columbia (2006) with co-authors Drs. David Green and Pat Gregory.  He has worked as a consultant in California and Oregon, and continues working with birds and amphibian issues in BC.
