Department of Geography

Welcome to the TLEF Website for Field Course development in Geographical Biogeosciences.

The objective of this site is to share some of the incredible physical geography of Vancouver and the surrounding area. The site is aimed at students participating in courses in our department but is open to any one with an interest in our regional geography or looking to get outdoors.

Currently, the site is divided into three subjects of interest: Geomorphology, Climatology and Biogeography. Currently Geomorphology is the most developed subject, with more to come later for Climatology and Biogeography. As well as the subjects of interest, there are some courses that currently have self-guided field trips. These are listed under "Field Trips" and anyoneone can download the .pdf documents with detailed instructions on how to get there and what to do. Anyone interested in looking a bit deeper into the world around us is welcome to download these files and go explore.
