Research interests
My research focuses on a range of topics related to hydroclimatology, catchment hydrology and the stream environment. Recent and ongoing areas of interest include the following:
- runoff generation
- surface-subsurface interactions
- climate-glacier-streamflow relations
- physical water quality (stream temperature, suspended sediment)
- riparian management (esp. in relation to stream temperature, microclimate, in-stream wood)
- effects of forest disturbance on hydrology and physical water quality
