The Vancouver Census Metropolitan Area (CMA) is  located on the west coast of Canada in the south-western corner of the Province of British Columbia.  The polital definition of this area is referered to as the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD).

The CMA of Vancouver is an aggregation of twenty municipalities and two electoral areas.  The map below depicts the major municipalities of the region.
